WJ Hard-KOR Tie Rod Assembly |
A note about patience, from Kevin, a man of *ultimate* patience...not. Folks, PLEASE do not make your life more difficult by scheduling your installation date until ALL of the parts and pieces show up on your doorstep. You laugh, but common sense is NOT common practice! I ask you this as a friend, as invariably, either the shipper, the vendor, or some other person involved will make an error and throw your plan into a tailspin. I get at least one e-mail a month from someone who got impatient and started doing an install, only to find out that they were missing something, or that a vendor was backordered, or the shipper lost the box, or something that throws off their schedule and their daily driver is now torn apart in the driveway, awaiting a part that's not to arrive for another few days. Don't be that guy...you don't have ANY need for that sort of stress, and there is little we can do on our end to assist you if you're in this predicament...except maybe pass along a recommendation for a good rental car company. PLEASE don't put yourself into this situation! Your loved-ones will thank me, lol. |
How many times have you bent your WJ's stock tie rod or drag link? Does it look more like the horizon of the Moon than the plains of Kansas? Well, we've come up with yet another creative solution for you, with parts you simply can't find anywhere else. How does a 1.25" chrome-alloy steel DOM tube with 3/8" sidewall sound to you? You know how thick a pencil is, right? It's about 50% thicker wall than a pencil...!! I'll have some photos up soon, but this thing is EXTREMELY resilient to bending!! Already pre-tapped to work with your WJ's factory 24mm (0.945") LH/RH tie rod ends, which are PLENTY beefy, even for hardcore rock crawling, and includes powdercoating and jamb nuts. A completely bolt-in deal for WJ owners...just re-use your stock WJ tie rod ends and use the jamb nuts that comes in the package...simple, easy, done deal, and LOT thicker than the stock crap.

S/H costs: $18.97 for Tie Rod Assembly due to it's weight, and please add $1.97 for residential shipping or it will be returned by UPS. $14.97 for Drag Link Assembly due to it's weight, and please add $1.97 for residential shipping or it will be returned by UPS. Both together is only $23.97, and again, same deal with the residential surcharge or it will be returned. |
